Summit is a legal entity specialized in Judicial Recovery of Companies and Bankruptcy, acting as a Judicial Administrator appointed by the Judiciary, assisting in the legal, adequate and effective conduction of judicial recoveries and bankruptcies of companies from the most varied segments.
Summit has all the necessary structure to assist the Judge and, as the case may be, the Committee of Creditors in judicial recovery processes, having among its partners lawyers, with several years of experience, specialized in the area of business law, with an emphasis on recovery judicial and bankruptcy, and with specific knowledge in the tax, accounting and financial areas.
For this reason, Summit also operates in the provision of consulting and advisory services to companies that are in difficulty, relying on a multidisciplinary team, consultants and partners specialized in the provision of negotiation and renegotiation of liabilities, corporate structuring, legal planning and succession, turnaround, search for investments and investors, and performance in merger & acquisitions processes.
Luiz Rogério Sawaya
Luiz Rogério holds a Master's Degree in Political and Economic Law from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie; Specialized in Commercial Law from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie; Specialized in Corporate Law from IBMEC/SP (currently INSPER); specialized in Tax Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo.
He works in the Tax area (consulting and litigation), with more than 15 years of experience in tax consulting and litigation, which was acquired through solid academic training and a career as a lawyer developed in the largest law firms in Brazil.
Former Member of the Board of Tax Appeals (“CARF”). He was a member of the Municipal Tax Council (CMT) of São Paulo; Visiting professor in post-graduate courses at several Faculties, especially at Mackenzie University; Lecturer in various specialized events on Tax Law in progress and seminars.
Publications: Author of the book “Créditos do ICMS na Guerra Fiscal”, published by Editora Quartier Latin. He has numerous articles in technical magazines and periodicals in Brazil and abroad.
Bruno Tadayoshi Hernandes Matsumoto
Bruno Matsumoto, a lawyer since 2007, is a Specialist in Contract Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo – PUC/SP (2009). He is a partner in charge of the corporate civil litigation, strategic litigation and company recovery areas at Nunes & Sawaya Advogados, acting as a court administrator appointed in judicial recovery and bankruptcy proceedings.
He was a member of the legal staff of law firms and the legal department of a multinational telecommunications company, working in litigation and business, contractual and administrative advisory services. assessment of assets, among other topics related to its area of expertise.
